Salmon is a Superfood

Salmon is the most amazing fish. It is born in fresh water, spends a good portion of its life in the open sea, only to swim back hundreds of miles to return to its’ birthplace in order to spawn. So smart....that’s why salmon is considered a “brain food”.

Avoid farmed fish as these are generally weaker fish that would not have that beautiful red color ( wild salmon’s red coloring is due to it’s consumption of krill) if not for the synthetic version of astaxanthin they are being fed.

Salmon is prized for it’s exceptionally high content of omeg-3 fatty acids. Wild Alaskan salmon also tends to be one of the cleanest sources of fish, typically containing the lowest levels of heavy metals and pesticide residues. Eat salmon...your brain will thank you!
